Job Summary

Responsible for assessing, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs that enhance associates' performance in the PreOp, PACU, and Endoscopy units. The role promotes professional development and supports the mission, vision, and SPIRIT Values of MedStar Health and the Department of Nursing. Activities include onboarding/orientation, competency management, education, professional role development, career coaching, and collaborative partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education/Training: Master's degree in Clinical Nursing, Nursing Education, or related field
• Experience: 3 years of progressive clinical nursing experience; staff development or continuing education experience preferred. Operating Room and Endoscopy RN experience strongly preferred.
• License/Certification/Registration: Valid RN license in Maryland. ACLS and national certification are a plus.
