Job summary

FVI FLORIDA SCHOOL OF NURSING & TECHNOLOGY in Miramar, FL is seeking a Nursing Faculty to teach Med-Surg and Fundamentals of Nursing in a home-like environment. The role includes supervising students in clinicals and delivering fully assigned teaching load to support student outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an active Florida RN license, a Master’s in Nursing, at least three years of teaching and clinical experience, active BLS, and a commitment to academic integrity and student success.

Qualifications

• Active and encumbered RN license in Florida.
• Master's degree in nursing required.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience in the teaching area.
• Active BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes diverse teaching methods to meet different learner needs.
• Delivers full teaching load and adheres to faculty policies.
• Supervises students in clinical settings and skills/simulation.
• Collaborates with Director of Nursing on improvement plans.
• Maintains regular office hours to support students.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and program outcomes.
