Within Surgical Services, the Nurse Director Surgery will guide a dynamic perioperative services program supporting safe, efficient care across the surgical continuum. This expansive facility serves as a regional healthcare hub, creating opportunities to lead complex operations, strengthen operating room performance, advance evidence-based practices, and enhance the patient experience. The Nurse Director Surgery will help optimize quality, staffing, throughput, regulatory readiness, infection prevention, resource utilization, and collaboration among preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative teams.

Reporting to senior hospital leadership, the Nurse Director Surgery will receive executive support while maintaining accountability for daily operations, strategic planning, budget oversight, team development, quality outcomes, and service-line growth. The role partners closely with friendly nurses, surgeons, anesthesia professionals, clinical educators, technicians, finance leaders, quality specialists, and a diverse healthcare professional team.
