Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH seeks a Nurse Director for the Operating Room North Naples to lead the nursing unit operations around the clock, ensuring high-quality patient care and effective resource management. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, collaboration, and adherence to standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN, with 3–5 years of RN leadership experience; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• MS degree preferred for leadership role.
• 3–5 years of RN leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years RN experience.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA required.
• Florida RN license required.
• Additional unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Analytical, motivational, and strategic planning skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation within assigned areas.
• Manage hospital nursing operations in accordance with policies and standards.
• Promote patient/family–centered care as a priority and meet quality expectations.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, and financial accountability for the department.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, DCF, TJC, EEOC, CDC, etc.).
• Hire, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed; manage performance.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and professional practice standards.
• Support change management and maintain service excellence.
