Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a nurse to work with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. You will monitor patients, administer medications, keep records, consult with healthcare providers, and educate patients.

You will assess and update care plans with the healthcare team, document vital signs and outcomes, and perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Certification as a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse (as applicable).
• Experience with medication administration and patient monitoring.
• Familiarity with nursing care plans and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
