Job summary

Harris Health System is seeking a Nurse Clinician II to provide skilled nursing care within our hospital system serving Harris County, Texas. The role requires independent clinical judgement and adherence to nursing standards and algorithms to manage common patient problems.

Qualified candidates will have an RN license in Texas, BLS certification, and a BSN or nursing diploma from an accredited program. Evening/weekend/on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or Diploma in Nursing; graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse; licensed to practice in Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or Red Cross approved program.

Responsibilities

• Independently and safely manages patients with common problems in assigned clinical area.
• Recognizes when assistance is needed and seeks appropriate resources.
