Job summary

Paradigm Corp is hiring a Field Nurse Case Manager to support injured workers in Raleigh and nearby communities, with 80% local travel. The role requires an NC RN license, ability to travel, and case management experience in workers' comp.

The candidate should be licensed in NC, willing to learn catastrophic cases, and may pursue CCM/CRRN/CDMS/CRC certifications within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered NC RN license.
• Registered as a Rehabilitation Professional with the NC Industrial Commission within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in workers' comp case management preferred.
• CCM/CRRN/CDMS/CRC certifications preferred; required within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical case management for work-related injuries, including assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers, medical providers, attorneys, employers and employees; monitor progress and report results.
• Travel locally for in-person patient appointments (roughly 80% travel) and support catastrophic cases as needed.

We are hiring aField Nurse Case Managerto support injured workers throughoutRaleigh and nearby communities, includingGoldsboro.

A Field Nurse Case Manager is a hybrid position. The candidate must be locatedin the Raleigh area due to regular local travel (80% of the time) for in-person patient appointments.Candidate must be willing to travel and be licensed in NC.

This individual is responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The Case Manager works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, and closely monitors the progress of the injured worker and reports results back to the employer and insurance carriers.Candidate must be willing to learn and take catastrophic cases.

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in NC.
• Registered as a Rehabilitation Professional with the North Carolina Industrial Commission required within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in case management of workers comp cases, preferred
• Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred. REQUIREDwithin two years of the date of hire
• Skills required for success: organization and timeline adherence skills, PC and technology skills, communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
• Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
• Skilled at patient education
• Valid Driver’s License, and good driving history
