At Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, CRNAs are empowered to exercise significant clinical autonomy while practicing within a collaborative, team‑based model. You will develop individualized anesthesia plans grounded in your expert assessment and clinical judgment, working in partnership with anesthesiologists who are readily available to provide support and guidance as needed. This dynamic fosters a culture of mutual respect and trust, where CRNAs’ expertise is recognized as integral to delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care.
Our facility offers a versatile and well‑equipped surgical environment, featuring twelve first‑floor operating rooms alongside four additional ORs on the sixth floor. The post‑anesthesia care unit (PACU) includes 28 bays and hosts specialized sessions for cardioversion, endotracheal tube management, and electrophysiology studies. The hospital also boasts two dedicated ERCP rooms and four gastrointestinal colonoscopy suites, with anesthesia coverage extending occasionally into interventional radiology procedures.
