Job summary

Hancock Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide Instructor to develop and deliver didactic and clinical education for CNA students, aligned with the Indiana IDOH NAT curriculum. The role involves creating lesson plans, evaluating students, and maintaining records throughout the training program.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN/LPN license in Indiana, have 1+ year of licensed nursing experience, and complete the IDOH Train-the-Trainer course with an AHA BLS provider/instructor

Qualifications

• RN/LPN in good standing in Indiana
• Minimum of one year of licensed nursing experience
• Completed the Indiana Department of Health Train-the-Trainer course
• AHA BLS Provider and Instructor

Responsibilities

• Develop lessons and classroom experiences for the Certified Nurse Aide Training program per IDOH curriculum.
• Deliver didactic, lab, and clinical instruction to students.
• Maintain accurate student records, syllabi, and assessments.
• Instruct students using engaging and evidence-based teaching strategies.
