Job summary

NC Community Colleges seeks a Nurse Aide Program Leader at the Oconaluftee Job Corps Center in Cherokee. The position is full-time and exempt, with responsibilities for leadership, instruction, compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintaining accreditation standards to support student achievement.

You will teach M-F 8a-4p, develop syllabi, coordinate clinical sites, and participate in college and program activities while ensuring accurate records and timely reporting to DHHS/DHSR

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years (4,000 hours) of experience as a Registered Nurse in the United States.
• Minimum of one (1) year (2,000 hours) of RN experience in long-term care facility services in the United States.
• Nurse Aide teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach M-F 8a-4p at the Oconaluftee Job Corps Center in Cherokee in accordance with Job Corps Policies and Procedures and the Training Achievement Record.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize documented student learning on the e-TAR.
• Develop, update, and share course syllabi in a timely manner.
