Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii seeks a Nurse Aide in Training to provide routine daily nursing care under licensed supervision. The role supports patient safety and well-being in a 94-bed skilled nursing facility.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, enrollment in a State-approved CNA program, and CPR certification. Able to lift up to 35 lbs and work with a team. Part-time and full-time positions available with PTO accrual after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a State-approved CNA program; may work for up to four months.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Lift, turn, move, position, and transport patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist patients with baths, showers, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Accurately document and chart patient care.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in evacuation of patients.
• Maintain regular attendance and professionalism.
