Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners is offering a Nurse Aide in Training Program to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) through a state-approved training path. You'll work under licensed nurses, gain hands-on experience in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, and develop essential caregiving skills including ADLs, infection control, and patient safety.

This role supports residents and teams daily while pursuing certification.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Currently enrolled in, or eligible to enroll in, a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
  • BLS/CPR Certification preferred but not required.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Desire to build a long-term career in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Help residents with meals, hydration, and comfort needs.
  • Assist with ambulation, repositioning, and transfers.
  • Answer call lights and respond to resident requests.
  • Make beds and prepare resident rooms.
  • Assist with meal service and dining room support.
  • Organize resident rooms and personal belongings.
  • Clean and sanitize resident care equipment.
  • Monitor residents and report changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  • Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
  • Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Participate in orientation, in-service education, and ongoing training.

Position Summary

As a Nurse Aide in Training, you'll work under the supervision of licensed nurses while completing a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program. You'll develop the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to become a successful Certified Nursing Assistant while providing compassionate care to residents.

What You'll Learn
