It includes an acute care hospital, emergency department, and specialty care center, located at the intersection of Westmoreland Road and US 21 in Cornelius, NC. The campus offers a patient-first experience in a wellness-oriented environment, featuring serene design and comprehensive facilities.

• 36 patient care beds, including 12 for women’s and children’s care
• 24/7 emergency department with 8 rooms
• 3 operating rooms, including a C-section delivery room
• 2 newborn nursery stations
• 2 triage rooms
• 1 procedure room
• Imaging services (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound)
• Laboratory services

Job Summary

The Nurse Aide/Healthcare Technician (CNA) supports patient care under RN supervision, maintains a safe environment, and ensures professional competencies are met according to patient needs.

Essential Functions

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene
• Measure vital signs, height, and weight
• Feed and ambulate patients as per procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms
• Observe and report patient condition changes
• Orient patients and families to the unit, instruct on safety
• Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, data entry, and record keeping
• Manage stock supplies
• Perform CNA tasks as per North Carolina Board guidelines
• Conduct technical tasks like EKGs and venipuncture with proper training

Physical Requirements

Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 35 pounds, and perform manual tasks. Good communication skills in English required. Physical abilities testing is mandatory.

Education, Experience, Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Current CNA listing with DFS or NC Board of Nursing and BLS certification from AHA required.
