Job summary

Lifepoint Health, Inc. seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in a fast-paced hospital or long-term care setting.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and help ensure patient comfort and safety under supervision. Required: CPR/BCLS certification and6 months of experience in acute or long-term care; strong communication and teamwork skills; the ability to prioritize patient needs.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferred.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Ability to prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
