Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Nurse Administrator I to oversee the efficient operation of nursing units within the health system. The role directs patient care services, patient throughput, and cross-departmental support to optimize hospital performance.

Responsibilities include staffing oversight, serving as a clinical resource, interacting with patients and families, and coordinating with Pharmacy and Lab for problem resolution.

Qualifications

  • > Associate’s Degree (Required)RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
  • > RN Field of Study: Nursing
  • > Minimum 2 years clinical experience
  • > Staffing and scheduling patterns, communication, interpersonal relationships skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution
  • > Demonstrated leadership skills
  • > Specialized Knowledge in related field

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a clinical resource and role model to nursing staff. Ensures safe and equitable working environments. Uses information systems to retrieve, implement, and retain essential records and services.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers and serves as a resource for information and problem solving (i.e. media, patient relations, risk management, security, hospital administration, patients, and families).
  • Serves as a liaison between nursing services and other hospital departments for problem solving and problem resolution (i.e. Pharmacy, Lab, etc.).
  • Coordinates and/or assists with activities during internal and external emergency situations.

Job Description Summary:

The Nurse Administrator I position is responsible for maintaining efficient and effective operations of nursing units/hospitals by providing direction for patient care services, patient throughput, and support for all hospital departments

Responsibilities And Duties:

50%
