Morningside Elite Management in Setauket, New York, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our assisted living and memory care community.

• Must be Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified or willing to become certified.

Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Position Summary:

Provides licensed nursing services to residents and may require supervision of other staff positions.

Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Responsibilities:

• Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & Stateregulations.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessmentsand documentation.
• Responsible for completing service plans.
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under thedirection of the Director.
• Provide general consultation regarding health‑related concerns within the community.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently when listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Notify physicians and/or family of any change in resident’s health and provides properdocumentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively while maintaining closecommunication with all departments and staff members.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff and attend all required training, in‑serviceand staff meetings.
• May provide oversight and direction for care staff.
• Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, thepreservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families and co‑workers.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
