Job summary

ACL Digital seeks an experienced Numerical Control Programmer Level 3 to plan, create, verify, and revise MCD and geometry for aerospace parts and tooling.

You will work on NC programming, tooling development, GD&T, fixture design, and standards under general direction. 6-month contract with shifts and potential overtime across 1st-3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related machining experience preferred with NC programming.
• Education options include Associate or Bachelor’s degree with related experience.
• Extensive aerospace tooling knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• NC Programming & Modeling: create 3D models from 2D drawings and generate MCD for CNC machines.
• Process & Tooling Development: guide new machining techniques, methods, software, and equipment.
• Tooling & Fixtures: apply GD&T, fixture design, PCM, and mylars in aerospace tooling.
• Technical Standards: set manufacturing and producibility requirements.

Position Type: 6-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $63/hr on W2

Shift: Variable (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts; must be open to weekend or daily overtime)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Numerical Control (NC) Programmer Level 3 to provide machining, tooling, and programming expertise. In this role, you will plan, create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and technical documentation directing numerically controlled equipment to manufacture and inspect aerospace parts, tools, and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• NC Programming & Modeling: Create 3D models from 2D drawings; plan, generate, and revise Machine Control Data (MCD) for numerically controlled machinery.
• Process & Tooling Development: Plan and guide the development and integration of new machining techniques, manufacturing methods, software, and equipment.
• Tooling & Fixtures: Apply hands-on experience with aerospace tooling, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), fixture design, Photo Contact Masters (PCM), and mylars.
• Technical Standards: Establish technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility under general direction.
