Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Nuclear Training Manager in Overland Park, KS. The role develops and manages a comprehensive nuclear training program spanning engineering, licensing, procurement, construction, commissioning, and quality functions.

You will design curricula, coordinate with internal SMEs, and ensure regulatory alignment while leading classroom and virtual programs. The position includes a hybrid work option and supports an ESOP-owned employer with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
• 5+ years of training experience including instruction and program assessment.
• Nuclear industry experience across engineering, construction, operations, or training.
• Must be a U.S. citizen for export control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver nuclear training content and assessments.
• Coordinate with internal SMEs for qualification programs (e.g., qual cards).
• Ensure alignment of training with regulatory and company standards.
• Lead classroom and virtual training programs and mentor instructors.
• Develop and manage training program budgets and documentation.
