Job summary

A leading nuclear energy company in Covert Township, MI, is seeking a Nuclear Systems Engineer to optimize and improve the reliability of systems at the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant. You will play a vital role in resolving plant issues, supporting Operations and Maintenance departments, and contributing to this historic plant's successful restart. The ideal candidate has a B.S. degree in Engineering, at least 2 years of nuclear experience, and strong communication skills. A competitive salary and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of engineering work in nuclear or related industry.
• Commercial Nuclear Power Plant experience preferred.
• SRO license or certification on PWR or BWR desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and enhance reliability of systems.
• Monitor performance, trends and conduct system walkdowns.
• Develop long-range management plans for assigned systems.
• Support troubleshooting of significant plant problems.
• Engage in project teams for outages and critical tasks.
