Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science required.
• Certified Health Physicist (American Board of Health Physics) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee solid/liquid/gaseous effluent radiochemical isotopic assessment for plant systems and environmental compliance.
• Supervise sampling and analysis of radiological and non-radiological effluent monitoring and environmental sampling.
• Interpret, document, trend, and report radiological analyses results.
• Develop and maintain procedures for radiological and radiological effluents areas of responsibility.
• Manage radiological data—record, store, and trend.
• Provide guidance to staff to maintain radiological controls within guidelines and recommend corrective actions.
• Interface with regulatory bodies on radiological matters.
• Provide technical radiological assistance to RP/Chemistry managers and staff.
• Oversee calibration, checks on radiological instrumentation and radioactive sources.
• Manage daily operations of the radiation safety program and ensure NRC/EPA/DOT/DOH/DOE/OSHA compliance.
