Job summary

Framatome is seeking a PWR Shift Supervisor to oversee reactor disassembly/reassembly and refueling activities for the assigned shift at customer sites. This is an on-site supervisory role with remote location flexibility, requiring travel to remote job sites and unescorted nuclear access.

You will direct technicians, ensure safety and compliance, prepare pre-outage activities, and contribute to training materials while leading a team through complex outage tasks during flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Expert knowledge in a particular field of commonly used equipment
• Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies
• Excellent communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, policies, procedures and guidelines with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers
• Requires specific technical training and certification

Responsibilities

• Direct reactor disassembly/reassembly and refueling activities for your shift
• Directs technicians which includes on the job training, pre-job briefs, defining task requirements and coaching
• Ensures safety and compliance of personnel and plant equipment
• Travels to a variety of remote job sites and supports outage activities
• Develops procedures, problem reports, and field schedules
