Maritime Operations within Mission Technologies – Nuclear & Environmental Services is looking for Engineering Technicians to join the team in Newport News, VA. These engineers support a wide variety of functional areas at Newport News Shipyard and specifically provide support to Newport News Shipbuilding in the Nuclear Propulsion Division in key roles in Nuclear Test Engineering.
Engineering Technician 3 – Associates Degree or two‑year technical degree in a related discipline and 3 years of experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related DoD/USN experience.
Engineering Technician 4 – Associates Degree or two‑year technical degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years of experience.
One of the following may be used as equivalent to an Associate's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
