Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting an experienced Implementation Manager for Nuclear Power Projects in Chattanooga, TN. This is a long-term 1-year contract with the largest public energy provider in the U.S.

The role oversees maintenance, outages, and project execution, with direct supervision and contract management responsibilities. The ideal candidate holds a engineering degree with extensive nuclear plant experience and proven leadership in safety, budgeting, and field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science.
• Completion of a 4-year craft apprenticeship or equivalent.
• 3 years of power plant experience; 2 years in nuclear power.
• 0.5 year of on-site experience.
• Nondestructive testing familiarity; craft knowledge; understanding of electrical, pressure vessel, and piping codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight for Maintenance, Outage, and/or Projects personnel to drive standards.
• Develop contract terms for implementation and execution of work.
• Oversee staff-augmented employees and contract performance.
• Plan and estimate work within their purview, ensuring quality delivery.
• Supervise workers during secondment assignments and coordinate with project teams.
• Manage budgets and approve spend plans for assigned work.
• Serve as CTS/FIA for assigned work when requested.
• Ensure safety, standardization, quality, and housekeeping compliance on field activities.
• Develop and review change documents for scope, funding, and scheduling changes.
• Coordinate with joint project teams to plan and estimate work across phases.
