Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, scope, schedule, cost, risk and communications on low to medium complexity projects within a nuclear/technical setting. You will report to the Resource Operations Manager and work a hybrid schedule based in Cranberry Township, PA.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 4–6 years as a PM in a technical industry, 4+ years leading medium/high complexity projects, and PMI-PMP certification or equivalent; strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 4–6 years of project management experience in a technical industry.
• 4+ years leading medium or high complexity projects; equivalent experience considered.
• PMI's Project Management Professional certification or approved equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the scope, schedule, cost/revenue, risk, quality, resources, communications, and partners while aligned with project/contract requirements.
• Preparation and oversight of project cost/revenue expenditures, forecasts, and progress evaluations to support project and financial reporting requirements.
• Promote teamwork including issuing and maintenance of project process metrics and process maps to ensure team, customer, and all partners are kept informed of project status.
• Develop and oversee project databases and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of internal/external project correspondence and documentation.
• Close the project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools.
• Be the single representative to customer project to cultivate relationships with team, customer, and other team members (including Product Management) to facilitate project completion and identify opportunities for business growth.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline
