Constellation is hiring Engineering Interns for a 2027 program at our Nuclear location in Byron, IL. The paid internship runs ~10 weeks from June 7 to August 13, 2027, with projects designed for real-world, hands-on experience under supervision and mentorship.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil, or Chemical Engineering program, with a minimum GPA of 2.8 overall and 3.0 in the major. Visa sponsorship is not provided. On-site work in Byron, IL is required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering program (Fall 2027).
• Majors include Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA: 2.8 overall and 3.0 in major.
• Track record of outstanding academic performance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects like Cooling Tower Drone Inspections, Nuclear Core Analysis, and Control Circuit Wiring Design.
• Assist in Thermal Overload Calculations for Motor Operated Valves and Seismic Monitoring upgrades.
• Support Hydrogen Electrolyzer project and related studies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and mentors to gain real-world experience at the Byron, IL location.
