Job summary

Westinghouse is seeking Service Workers in Spencer, NC to perform cleaning of restrooms, cafeterias, entryways and some warehouse areas, with duties like vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and trash removal.

Typical schedule is 40 hours Mon-Thu with 10-hour days during online periods; overtime during outages. Pay rate is $17.50/hr DOE with contract benefits including medical, dental, 401k, paid holiday and PTO.

Qualifications

• Maintain unescorted access requirements.
• Safe operation of cleaning equipment in nuclear plant settings.
• Adhere to station policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Follow oral and written instructions for plant tasks.
• Travel throughout the station and outdoor environments.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, cafeterias, entryways and some warehouse areas.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop and empty trash.
• Operate cleaning machinery as required.
• Support overtime during outage periods.
