Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Nuclear Planner for the Duane Arnold Nuclear Plant in Palo, IA, for a 12‑month assignment. The role covers mechanical, electrical and I&C planning with both remote and onsite options.

You will develop work packages, analyze maintenance tasks, and guide junior planners while ensuring compliance with ASME codes and nuclear safety standards. Prior nuclear and NAMS software experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Experience: 7+ years
• Nuclear Experience: 7+ years
• Experience using NAMS software

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze work order tasks required to implement preventive maintenance, modification, corrective, and surveillance activities
• Develop work standards to support work packages
• Provide guidance to more junior system planners to develop detailed elements of overall packages
• Ability to create work packages for all disciplines, including but not limited to proficiency in generating weld data sheets following ASME codes procedural requirements

Reporting to the Manager

Westinghouse is looking for Mechanical, Electrical and I&C Planners. There are remote and onsite opportunities.

• 3 - Mechanical Maintenance - 1 onsite / 2 remote
• 2 - Electrical Maintenance - 1 onsite / 1 remote
• 1 - I&C - remote
