Job summary

PHC is seeking a Delivery Courier (Driver) in Duncan, SC to deliver nuclear pharmacy products to hospitals, physician offices, and medical facilities. The role requires safe driving and timely deliveries on assigned routes, with attention to quality standards.

You will load and unload, handle paperwork, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and assist with inventory. DOT training and certification are required, and flexibility to work various shifts is a must to support patient care and service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with valid state driver's license required.
• Must have and maintain clean driving record.
• Must have ability to efficiently plan routes and exhibit proper driving etiquette.
• Must have the ability to drive in all types of weather and road conditions safely.
• Ability to work a variety of schedules including early mornings, days, nights, holidays, weekends, overtime, and on-call as needed.
• Must possess excellent critical-thinking, interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Prior driving, delivery and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the timely delivery of nuclear pharmacy products to predetermined customers on specific routes while meeting internal schedule and quality standards.
• Unloads products as per client specifications while providing excellent customer service.
• Acts as a customer service liaison for the company, including treating all internal and external customers with respect, listening to and assisting in resolving customer complaints.
• Accepts returns from clients where applicable. Breaks down delivery cases, disposes of radioactive materials and sanitizes lead pigs.
• Completes appropriate paperwork for deliveries and returns.
• Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles and facility. Assists with the stocking of products and supplies throughout Facility as well as tracking inventory.
• Notifies Pharmacy Manager when products or supplies are low, need to be re-ordered or replaced.
• Performs routine safety checks on vehicles and pre-trip vehicle inspections according to company guidelines.
