East River Medical Imaging, PC is seeking a full-time Nuclear Technologist to perform PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and Theranostic procedures in NYC/Westchester. Requires NYS Radiologic Technologist and Nuclear Medicine licenses with ARRT/NMTCB credentials and CPR certification.

Responsible for quality control, radiopharmaceutical administration, and patient support. Candidate must meet NRC/state regulations, perform pre-procedure screenings, and communicate clearly with patients and team.

Qualifications

• Current NYS licenses in good standing required.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to administer radiopharmaceuticals per NRC/state regulations.
• New York State licensure combinations accepted: NYS Radiologic Technologist + Nuclear Medicine with ARRT (R) & CT and NMTCB; or NYS Nuclear Medicine + ARRT (CT) with NMTCB.

Responsabilités

• Screen patients prior to the procedure for precautions or contraindications.
• Explain and prepare patients for PET/CT, SPECT/CT, or Theranostic procedures and position patients.
• Prepare, record and administer radiopharmaceuticals per NRC/state regulations.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV to patients.
• Perform and document daily quality control on equipment for correct operation.
• Perform and record quality control per schedule to meet ACR/AOA guidelines.
• Troubleshoot issues and report problems to supervisor.
