Job summary

The Nuclear Company is seeking a Permitting Specialist to coordinate environmental, land use, and infrastructure permitting across FEL 0-3 for complex projects. You will manage permit applications, maintain schedules, and liaise with agencies to ensure regulatory milestones are met.

Use AI-enabled tools and the Nuclear Operating System (NOS) to streamline tracking, reporting, and documentation. Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting permitting, environmental compliance, land development, infrastructure projects, utilities, energy, or industrial development.
• Experience coordinating permit applications and regulatory approvals with government agencies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple permits, projects, and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage federal, state, and local permit applications and approvals.
• Maintain permitting schedules and track milestones.
• Coordinate responses to agency requests and permit modifications.
• Collaborate with environmental consultants, engineering firms, and licensing interfaces.
• Support meetings and regulatory agency communications.
