You will apply your Nuclear Medicine expertise in a hands-on environment, collaborating with R&D and QA teams, providing timely observations and feedback, and ensuring thorough test coverage while supporting calibration and software validation in a clinical-like lab.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Control on SPECT and SPECT/CT systems.
  • Proficient with performing SPECT and SPECT/CT acquisitions in a clinical environment.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of nuclear medicine and CT protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Nuclear Medicine background to execute manual informal and formal Verification and Validation testing of complex nuclear medicine scanners and applications.
  • Provide thorough and timely feedback to development teams on observations.
  • Maintain prototypes in the lab and troubleshoot issues for clinical-like use.
  • Support software installation, configuration, and quality control calibration of systems.
  • Collaborate with R&D, software, product, and QA teams to improve products and processes.

Employment: Contract (12 month w/potential to convert Direct)

Compensation: $ 55.00/hour

Schedule: 40hours /week.8:30am-5pm

  • Identifying, submitting, tracking, and validating product defects using industry-standard tools.
  • Reporting on the quality, maturity, and progress of Nuclear Medicine products/documentation content to test leads.

  • Analyzing system requirements and technical concept specifications to ensure adequate functionality coverage.
  • Analyzing customer feedback and supporting customer complaint investigations.

  • Maintaining prototypes in the lab in a manner as they would be used in a clinical environment, including troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions.
  • Supporting software installation, configuration, and quality control calibration of systems.
  • Taking part in the knowledge exchange within our R&D team to improve and further develop our products and software solutions.
  • Highly hands-on role with SPECT / SPECT CT systems
  • Daily work in a laboratory or clinical-like environment

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Control on SPECT and SPECT/CT systems.

  • Strong understanding of nuclear medicine and computer tomography clinical protocols.
