Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville seeks a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in a high-volume trauma center teaching environment.

Responsibilities include dose calculations, collaboration with staff, and ensuring patient safety and protocol compliance. Florida licensure and NMTCB/ARRT certification are required or eligible, with CPR current and experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine training program.
• Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Florida or eligible for licensure.
• Certification by NMTCB and/or ARRT(N) as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers.
• Less than one year of post-graduate experience.
• One to two years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Calculate doses and apply routine nuclear medicine formulas.
• Coordinate with fellow technologists and medical director to optimize patient throughput.
• Maintain patient safety, quality control and compliance with protocols.
