Job summary

University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform clinical and research nuclear medicine testing, including general and cardiac studies, and to provide instruction to students and staff.

The role involves developing policies and quality assurance for Nuclear Medicine services, with opportunities for career growth within UVMMC’s state-of-the-art imaging department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Requires an Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine.
• Licensed by ARRT or CNMT in Vermont.
• Please be prepared to provide college transcripts if invited for interview.

Responsibilities

• Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies and cardiac studies.
• Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.
• Contributes to policy, procedure, standards and objectives, and quality assurance for Nuclear Medicine services.
