Job summary

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform nuclear medicine studies and provide radiopharmaceutical support within the Radiology Department. Qualifications include one year of specialized experience or a Ph.D.

in Nuclear Medicine Technology (or a combination of education and experience). Preferred ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification but not required; US Citizens only.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience performing nuclear medicine studies and providing radiopharmaceutical support.
• Education may substitute for experience under the combined education/experience rule.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine studies and examinations in the Radiology Department.
• Provide technical support and therapeutic applications of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Assist in quality control and patient preparation per protocol.
