Job summary

Atrium Health is looking for a dedicated individual for a PRN position in Nuclear Medicine at our Winston-Salem, North Carolina location. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, be enrolled in a JRCNMT accredited program, and hold a CPR certification. Responsibilities include assisting with Nuclear Medicine examinations, maintaining departmental records, and ensuring age-appropriate care. Responsibilities

  • Performs quality Nuclear Medicine examinations under supervision.
  • Schedules procedures and maintains records for efficiency.

What You'll Do
  • Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building. Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Assumes responsibility for keeping informed about changes in policies and procedures. Participates in departmental in-service and educational offerings. Contributes to the overall quality of services.
  • Performs or assists in performing quality Nuclear Medicine examinations in a timely and efficient manner while under the supervision and/or direction of an NMTCB registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist, ensuring consistent workflow and high level of productivity.
  • Schedules procedures and maintains appropriate records which contribute to the efficiency of department operations. Coordinates with other departments as needed.
  • Assists with room preparation and restocking of rooms and other departmental storage areas with supplies necessary for patient care and procedures.
  • Participates in educational activities to enhance patient care and quality of services provided.
  • Ensures age/developmentally appropriate care is provided in accordance with Age‑Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served to ensure patient's needs are met.
