Job summary

Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro, LA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to join our Radiology team. You will perform diagnostic scans, operate nuclear medicine equipment, and ensure quality control across procedures to support accurate diagnoses.

Requirements include an AS or BS in Radiologic Technology, and current Louisiana license for Radiologic Technologist and Nuclear Medicine, plus ARRT and NMTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed and certified by ARRT and NMTCB with Louisiana license for Radiologic Technologist and Nuclear Medicine.
• Graduate of an approved college with an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s).

Responsibilities

• Quality control of equipment and procedures.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment for diagnostic scans.
• Apply knowledge of procedures to ensure patient care.
• Take diagnostic scans to assist in diagnosing disease or injury.
• Maintain Nuclear Medicine department records and charting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an approved college with an accredited program for Radiologic Technology with an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree. Must be licensed and certified by ARRT and Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) with a Louisiana license for Radiologic Technologist and Nuclear Medicine.
