Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures and support patient care in a dynamic radiology team. You will operate Nuclear Medicine equipment, collaborate with radiologists, and maintain strict quality control standards to ensure diagnostic accuracy.

The role requires ARRT CNMT/RT(N) credentials, BLS, and preferred Associate or Bachelor’s degrees. This position is on-site in Florida and includes career development and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required/ preferred.
• Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology (RT(N)(ARRT)) required.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment meets quality control requirements and performs patient examinations using age-specific care techniques.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures with camera acquisition and computer processing; adapts to new technology and mentors coworkers and students.
• Maintains room readiness, stocks supplies, and initiates work orders for malfunctioning equipment.

Job Description:

Shift Information: PRN (Variable shifts-days, evenings, weekends, call)

• Ensures equipment meets all quality control requirements and performs patient examinations utilizing age-specific care techniques in a safe and responsible manner, evaluating image quality for good technical and diagnostic detail.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
• Performs a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures demonstrating proficiency with camera acquisition and computer processing, adapting to new technology, and helping develop the knowledge and competency of coworkers and students.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintains room readiness by keeping the room neat, supplies well stocked, and equipment prepared for the next patient, initiating and documenting work order requests for any malfunctioning equipment.

Education:

Associate [Preferred] Bachelor's [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology (R.T.(N)(ARRT)) [Required]

Pay Range:

$31.86 - $59.27
