Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience; nuclear medicine experience preferred.
  • Certifications: ARRT Nuclear Technology or Certified Nuclear Med Tech, BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of equipment operation, sterile techniques, venipuncture, and patient care procedures.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

  • Maintain departmental cleanliness, restock supplies, and support regulatory standards.

Role Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides safe, accurate imaging services by performing diagnostic exams in accordance with department procedures. They independently operate equipment, position patients, and ensure quality image acquisition while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
