Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to perform stress ECG and nuclear medicine imaging under supervision. You will ensure safe, accurate imaging and patient care per department policies and government regulations.

Qualifications include an associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or hospital training, current G.M.R.T. registry with the Texas Medical Board, and the ability to work at least 2 shifts per 4 weeks.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
  • Associate Degree or hospital-trained to take the registry exams.
  • CNMT/NMT/ARRT-R or RT radiologic technologist credentials.
  • Current G.M.R.T. registry with the Texas Medical Board.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 2 shifts per 4 week rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Safely perform stress ECG and nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
  • Provide related patient care following regulations and hospital policies.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the Manager of Medical Imaging, the Director of Medical Imaging, and the Staff Radiologists, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible to safely and proficiently perform stress ECG and nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures and related patient care according to government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging Department, and policies and procedures of the hospital.

Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate Degree accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology or hospital trained and qualified to take the registry exam(s) listed below.
  • (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
  • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
  • Current G.M.R.T. registry with the Texas Medical Board
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 2 shifts per 4 week rotation
