Job summary

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to produce high‑quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT studies in a patient‑focused environment.

You will follow ARRT/NMTCB standards and hospital policies, while ensuring radiation safety and proper image quality for diverse patient populations. The role requires certification preparation and adherence to safety protocols; the work schedule is Monday–Friday, 0730–1600, with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Graduate in radiology with ARRT/NMTCB credentials preferred.
• Certificate or license requirements include CNMT/NMTCB/ARRT-R as applicable.
• Experience in radiologic or nuclear medicine technology is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce images per ARRT/NMTCB standards and hospital policy.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras, computers and related equipment efficiently.
• Maintain quality scans from neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA guidelines in all procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and families clearly and compassionately.
