Job description

Nuclear Med Tech

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nuclear Med Tech to join our staff for a 16-week contract. As a Nuclear Med Tech, you will provide high-quality diagnostics, therapeutic procedures, and create images for medical evaluation, making a difference in patients' and families' lives.

Responsibilities for (Nuclear Medicine Technologist):

1. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
2. Operate imaging equipment and analyze results
3. Work closely with physicians and other clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging
4. Operate imaging equipment, prepare and administer, analyze images and data, provide patient care, ensure radiation safety, and perform quality control

Requirements for (Nuclear Medicine Technologist):

1. Minimum of 2 years of paid experience in a hospital, clinic, or research setting
2. Valid Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) license for the state of Kentucky
3. BLS (AHA), ACSL (AHA), COVID vaccine with booster
4. All health documentation up to date
5. Ability to pass background and drug screening
6. Documented travel experience on resume
7. Residence at least 75 miles from Pikeville, KY (verified by Photo ID)
8. Availability for a 40-hour workweek (day shift)
9. Pay range: $1,900.00 - $2,000.00 per week
