Job summary

Compass Government Solutions in Bethesda, Maryland seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support NICoE at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence. Responsibilities include performing a full range of nuclear medicine procedures, operating PET/CT and other imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to NAVMEDP5055 and JC guidelines under physician supervision.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of NM technologist experience, US citizenship, a Bachelor's in Radiological Science,

Qualifications

Must be a US citizen and able to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
Bachelor's degree in Radiological Science; continuing education credits required.
Knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment operation and basic PACS familiarity.

Responsibilities

Perform a full range of nuclear medicine procedures following NICoE/MTF protocols.
Operate equipment (PET/CT, gamma cameras) and calibrate/maintain quality control.
Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer doses under physician guidance.
Coordinate patient flow, scheduling, and documentation per SOPs.
Ensure radiation safety and infection control in daily practice.
