Johns Hopkins Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech/PET Technologist to perform radionuclide imaging and radiopharmaceutical administration for outpatient exams. You will work with PET/CT imaging, radiologists, and a team of technologists to deliver high‑quality images in a renovated Bethesda suite.

The role emphasizes patient preparation, collaboration with clinical leadership, and ongoing growth opportunities within Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
• Completion of approved Nuclear Medicine Technology curriculum.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine Certification or NMTCB certification required.
• Maryland radiography license required; hybrid CT license if diagnostic CT on Hybrid CT devices.

As a Nuclear Medicine Tech/PET Technologist, you will utilize radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to perform or assist in the performance of diagnostic examinations, including the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals and radionuclide imaging of organs and organ systems of patients. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment and collaborate with radiologists while working exclusively with outpatient patients.

PET Technologists work exclusively on PET/CT imaging exams. You will not be responsible for DEXA exams or theranostic infusions. At Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging, technologists are supported by a team of schedulers and nurses so you can focus on ensuring high‑quality imaging.

You will work closely with a team of PET/CT technologists and a team of on‑site clinical leadership who are dedicated to fostering growth opportunities. The PET/CT imaging suite at Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging in Bethesda has been recently renovated and upgraded.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates Degree
• Completion of an approved curriculum in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT-N) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) required
• Radiography license Maryland Licensure from the Board of Physicians
• Special License to operate standalone/Hybrid CT devices for diagnostic CT from the Maryland Board of Physicians is required if performing diagnostic CT for Hybrid CT devices
• CPR certification within 1 month of hire date
• Nuclear Med Tech I -- Less than two (2) years of experience. New grads are encouraged to apply.
• Nuclear Med Tech II -- Two (2) or more years of experience

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift

9:30am - 6:00pm

Salary Range:

Minimum 42.33/hour - Maximum 69.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
