Job summary

MultiCare Health System's Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures and uphold departmental standards, delivering compassionate imaging care for patients.

The role requires the ability to work independently, administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform venipuncture, and conduct quality control on equipment, while contributing to a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in science or healthcare field preferred
  • Credentialing: NMTCB CMNT or ARRT(N) registry or eligibility; exam within 1 year
  • CPR certification for Health Care Providers
  • Certified with Washington State Department of Health

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures and on-call tasks as needed
  • Administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals per policy
  • Perform venipuncture and IV placement
  • Work independently and unsupervised
  • Execute quality control procedures for equipment and maintain film filing

Position Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and maintaining departmental standards. In this role, you will ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients.

Responsibilities
  • You will perform on-call tasks, when necessary, as well as a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures
  • You will administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • You will perform venipuncture and IV placement
  • You will be able to work independently and unsupervised
  • You will perform quality control procedures, as required for all equipment, and become familiar with the film filing system
Requirements
  • BA or BS degree in science of health care field preferred
  • CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N) or equivalent or/ registry eligible and exam taken within one year of employment
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification
  • Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
