Job summary

St Joseph’s Health and Trinity Health in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Part-time Imaging Technologist for day shifts on a per diem basis. You will perform imaging procedures and provide patient services using imaging modalities in a clinical setting.

Satisfactory completion of AMA-approved imaging training and eligibility for ARRT or NMTCB certification, and/or New York State license, with ongoing education and skill updates required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs imaging procedures. Provides patient services using imaging modalities.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

Satisfactory completion of formal imaging training in an AMA approved school and meets requirements for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, and/or New York State Department of Health License.

Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical dexterity and ability.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:

Clinical Setting – Exposure Class I – routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Heavy work – continual and repetitive motions, including but not limited to heavy lifting, bending, stooping and twisting, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, prolonged walking and standing.

WORK CONTACT GROUP:

All services, employees, medical staff, patients, visitors, vendors and various regulatory and professional agencies.

Pay Range: $44.40-$70.02

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
