Rochester Regional Health's Clifton Springs Hospital seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic exams, QA procedures, and radiopharmaceutical handling, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Work 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, day shifts, with no weekend or holiday work, in the Radiology department. Requires ARRT/NMTCB certification within 3 months of hire and NYS radiologic license in Nuclear Medicine; bachelor's degree or certification is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or certification program required.
  • ARRT and/or NMTCB certification within 3 months of hire.
  • NYS license in Radiologic Technology in Nuclear Medicine or permit with licensure within 6 months of hire.
  • New graduates must provide transcript or verification within 90 days of graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of diagnostic exams and QA procedures; ensure nuclear imaging equipment is in good condition.
  • Educate patients about procedures and maintain a safe, comfortable environment for the exam.
  • Maintain clear documentation within radiopharmacy information systems.
