Job summary

St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radionuclide-based imaging and related procedures, maintaining professional standards and patient care.

The role requires clinical judgment aligned with medical ethics and collaboration with licensed practitioners. Responsibilities include administering radioactive materials, collecting data from imaging, conducting equipment QC, and supporting department goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine.
• AMA approved program or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of acute care Nuclear Medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radioactive materials to patients.
• Collect and document data from radiation emissions.
• Perform quality control on equipment and radioactive materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director or Manager.

Education

Associate Degree

AMA approved Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine program

One to two years of acute care Nuclear Medicine experience (preferred)

ARRT Nuclear Medicine Registry

NMTCB Certification

Texas State Registered Radiologic Technologist

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
