Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the Methodist Physicians Clinic – Fremont Cardiology & Pulmonology. This part-time role (24 hrs/week) requires accurate image acquisition, patient care, and strict quality/safety practices. Primary location is MPC Fremont with potential to float to other Omaha-area sites.

Schedule: Tue/Thu/Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm. Responsibilities include QC of imaging equipment, patient preparation, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nuclear medicine program with ARRT CNMT or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in clinical nuclear medicine imaging and patient care is a plus.
• Proficient with quality control and radiation safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control of imaging equipment and maintain QC records.
• Acquire nuclear medicine images using established protocols and positioning.
• Prepare patients, monitor safety, and ensure informed consent when required.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinate with MPC Fremont Cardiac Clinic.
