Job summary

Crouse Health in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time role of 24 hours per week, daytime shifts. The position focuses on diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with radiopharmaceuticals and advanced imaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Training Program.
• Current registration as Nuclear Medicine Technologist by ARRT or NMTCB or eligible to sit for boards.
• BLS certification at hire or within two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Professionally performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment.
• Prepares and verifies unit dosage of radiopharmaceuticals prior to administration.
• Performs studies with properly labeled images and maintains high accuracy.
• Conducts quality control tests on equipment and reports malfunctions promptly.
• Transports patients to and from the department as needed.
• Explains tests clearly and reassures patients throughout procedures.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by department leadership.
