Qualifications

• Graduate of allied health education and accredited radiography school or equivalent.
• NY State DOH Licensure required.
• ARRT NM/TCB required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine imaging and some special procedures.
• Prepares patients and positions for examinations.
• Assists radiologists during procedures.
• Operates and maintains radiology equipment.
• Maintains QA and adheres to safety standards.
• On-call, holidays, overtime and night shifts may be required.
• Documents information in Meditech or RIS/PACS.
